Motel es una obra de la compañía de danza gruppo nanou.
Es una trilogía compuesta por tres habitaciones. Motel es un lugar deshabitado y familiar, el cuarto de los secretos, de los amantes y de las putas, el refugio de los asesinos, el descanso de los viajeros.
La dramaturgia es la interacción entre un número limitado de personajes inmersos en un entorno familiar y ordinario en el cual los sucesos insólitos mueven el flujo cotidiano de la acción.
Los elementos de la puesta en escena tales como la fragmentación del espacio y del tiempo, la relación entre los cuerpos y los muebles, han sido analizados y declinados en la especificidad del lenguaje fotográfico. La fuerte estructura cinematográfica de la obra ha impuesto el formato horizontal de las imágenes.
Las fotografías intentan reconstruir la escena y su trama fragmentándola, se vuelven pistas visuales, muestran y confunden en el mismo tiempo.
El encuentro entre la compañía gruppo nanou y la fotógrafa Laura Arlotti ocurrió en 2006. Así empezó una colaboración basada en el compartir la misma estética y el mismo imaginario.
